QUICK OVERVIEW OF THE COURSE
Let’s make painful penetration a thing of the past!
WHAT PAST COURSE ATTENDEES HAVE HAD TO SAY:
Are you experiencing painful or difficult penetration?
You are NOT alone! In a recent postpartum study (Banei et al 2020) the prevalence for painful intercourse was reported as 35% (that’s a very hight 1 in 3 moms!)More specifically the prevalence at:- 2 months postpartum: 42%- 2-6 months postpartum: 43%- 6-12 months postpartum: 22% (a full year later! THIS is too high!) – Lucky you have this course right!!Other studies have identified a ~28% lifetime prevalence of pain (note, this is not referring to postpartum moms)In 2017, Mitchel et al. reported a prevalence of 7.5% of 7000 ‘women’ , 1/4 of which had experienced frequent pain for >6 months!!This, my friend, is why I created this course! You deserve access to information, to self care to empowerment to manage independently as well as the confidence to advocate for your wellbeing when communicating with professionals!Enjoy your journey from pain to pleasure!!
Clients have completed this course and moved from painful to pleasurable penetration, without the need to consult with a practitioner. With this said, I can confidently say that no self-guided course could replace a one on one medical consultation. Although you are well aware of my background as a professional, self guided courses cannot be claimed or submitted to medical insurance. This course will however provide you with necessary insight to jumpstart your journey!
This course will provide you with the knowledge and insight to not only advocate for your sexual wellbeing but also to implement tools to facilitate desired change. This course will take you through; anatomy education, pain education, self -assessment, self management tools – breath work, mobility routines, exercise class, hands on release techniques, internal release techniques, dilator use and progressions to penetrative sex. What this is not…
This course is not a one size fits all approach to managing vaginismus symptoms, I don’t believe in that approach to care and even here, through online content, I want better than that for you!
I put a lot of thought into what it meant to create a “method” or a “protocol”, that would certainly be convenient but it’s not what works in practice, so.. it’s not going to work here.
Instead, this is an opportunity for learning and empowerment, created in such way that you will be able to implement various changes into your unique context to change and enrich your current experiences.
